Past projects by Cameron Land and Marine

Marina Bay Harbor Marina, Clear Lake Shores, TX

2020 Marina Bay Harbor Marina Renovation

As an agent of VIP Marinas, marina co-owner, and operating partner, Hunter Cameron renovated and transformed the Marina Bay Harbor Marina from an insolvent real estate business with less than 30 percent occupancy in 2020 to a best-in-class marina with over 100 percent occupancy and multiple lucrative ancillary revenue streams today.

Surfside Marina and Service Center, Surfside Beach, TX

Surfside Marina – 2024 Hurricane Beryl Repair and Renovation

Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the Texas Coast in July 2024 as the first Atlantic Category-Five hurricane to hit in July since 2005. Surfside Beach was close to the core brunt of the storm, and the area received significant damage and flooding. Cameron Land and Marine responded quickly to repair damage to the docks, the ship store, the boat barn, and the retail space at Surfside Marina, and restored the marina back to its standard as a high-volume, central haven for the Texas sportfishing population.

Current Projects

The Marina Bay Harbor Dry Boat Storage Expansion Barn and Ship Store

The 2026 Marina Bay Harbor Marina expansion project is a joint development effort between Cameron Land and Marine, VIP Marinas, and Marina Bay Harbor Marina, with support from the City of Kemah, City of Clear Lake Shores, Galveston County, and a host of architectural, engineering, and supply partners who are helping to make it all possible.

Cameron Land and Marine is planning and building the state-of-the-art, 288-slip dry storage barn and ship store. The project is being constructed across four acres and will serve Gulf Coast boaters as the most expansive, secure, and “full-service” boat storage barn in all of Texas and provide a new home for Galveston, Houston, Kemah, and Clear Lake boaters. The storage barn will open in January 2027, with the 5,000-square-foot ship store soon to follow in May 2027, providing the best valet boat storage service and community-grounded marina destination across the entire Gulf Coast.
